I am seeing military jackets in colours of gunmetal greys and chic patent black and flannel greys.  Lot's of "spit 'n polish" in shoes, boots and accessories.  Sillouettes are long lean lines.  Pencil skirts are in (not that they were ever really OUT) in greys and plaids.  One very interesting color addition to the palette for the season... is Ultraviolet... a brightened deep purple.

Retailers are showing chucky cuff bracelets in textured leathers and wood.  While not NEW NEW, iut is a nice return back to real elegance.... long gloves.  They are coming out in a variety of leathers and rich jewel tone colours.  Hats are back in newsboy caps, head hugging fedoras.  The influence is definitely menswear: Caps in plaids, flannels and checks, soft leathers.  Gorgeous!

Body conscious down and leather jackets will keep us warm through the cold days and nights this winter.
