I am a plus size woman who took my daughter shopping with me one day ( she is an adult
who blessedly wears a size 0 to 4).  We entered a high end shop that I was familiar with and
within minutes my daughter came up behind me and said " we have to get out of here, now"..
and started to leave toward the door.  I put my potential purchases by the till and told them I
would be back.  I followed my daughter outside, and found her about l5 feet from the store
entrance--her back to me.  I asked her what was the matter and she, with tears in her eyes,
said " Do the designers of these clothes not realize that people your size  DON'T want or NEED big flowers covering your butt, or horridly colored horizontal striped outfits.  These
clothes were made for clowns who KNOW they are wanting to be funny, for gods' sakes!
How can they treat people with such indignity? "   I had never before seen it through someone
else's eyes and now look at the other plus size people dressed as idiots like the victims that
they are.  We need choices of the same fabrics and colors that everyone else wears.  If we
don't shop at the stores that try to sell us this over-priced crap, we may put them out of business and get decent clothing to wear.
